Transporter T6.1 electric sliding door does not open first attempt

Guys, see these videos, any ideas? Takes 2 goes to open the sliding door with the remote or lever pull. Even the dealer doesn't know the cause.

I’ve had the same issue and had the drivers side door motor replaced under warranty. Eventually the door became permanently locked and unable to be opened. Either on the key or manually.

I’m still having issues similar to yours, from what I’ve read it could be a potential issue with the battery voltage which only seems to affect the drivers side door. Swapping the battery out for a larger capacity battery is a potential solution but I’ve not tried it myself.
