For Sale TSI Van for sale.

Got to admit I wish they still offered the TSI (never owned 1) on the T6.1 but seeing at the transporter is commercial focus first they decided to drop and run as a diesel.. that and their focus moving to ev! And now as we know they can't even be arsed to build it and left for Ford to make :(

Any well looked after diesel will go forever but due to the nonsense emissions rules brought in adblue, dpf etc they are all designed to eventually clog the engine which then requires more servicing at the expensive of the owner :(
I'm glad my T6 is pre adblue. My last van was a 2020 Toyota proace and spent more time at the dealer than on my drive

Let’s not forget that all our pride & joys are primarily commercial vehicles and as such diesel is the obvious best choice financially for a load lugging, business mile muncher. However, for a limited mileage use, mainly local short runs, I love driving my tsi in the knowledge that I don’t have to wait until I’ve got it super hot so as not to have dpf problems. The tdi is still suited to long holiday trips but for the local runs I’m happy to have the tsi. Also, as mentioned, VW are reputed to have pulled the petrol from production to make better use of the engine in their range of more popular cars, as the commercial market obviously prefers diesel.
Each has pros and cons and suitable uses.

Nice, innit?

Alex is meticulous when it comes to modifying and choosing parts, it is his livelihood after all (akstuning.com)
It had a full Caravelle interior fitted, with the rails in the floor, captains seats, table, etc., plus the 6 pot "Vanborghini" brakes, wheels. suspension....

It's the only van to buy...if you like peak torque three times higher up the rev range. It doesn't make for a relaxing drive.

If you can't afford to maintain a diesel don't buy one, but don't be kidding yourself a TSi is at all well suited to this application, particularly with a lardy camper conversion already aboard.

If you're a sprog and enjoy driving at 10/10ths everywhere then a TSi is right up your street. If you're a grown up who prefers less outright performance but of a more accessible nature then it isn't. After all, they were such a flop that VW killed them off and why I could have comfortably bought two TSi's for what I spent...but chose not to.
Absolute rubbish.
My tsi is about the most relaxing vehicle to drive that I've ever owned.
Travelled down to the South of France in it loaded to the gunnels with two weeks worth of camping gear.
Oh and yes, it will do well over 140mph on the Autobahn with ease.
Only downside is fuel consumption , but compared to an equivalent power t6 diesel I'd wager there's not much in it.

Oow I bet that was fun.. really shame no option on the t6.1 or would have bought one!

Not bad for a van that only does 126 flat out, according to VW.
