Do the U shape loads of room
Storage in the u-shape is fantastic.
But for us the main benefit is that we can sit at a table on a comfy bench seat, sofa style and make/eat meals while taking in the view without getting in the way of the kitchen area.
If you have a RnR bed and spin the front seat and then attach a table you can no longer access your kitchen area to prep food. With the u-shape one doesn’t interfere with the other.
We can remove the table and sit/lie with our feet up and read a book or use laptop etc and just chill out. It’s like having a sofa each.
Downside is there’s no rear belted seats.
My next van will be U-shaped again.
