Underseat wiring and swivel seats

Historically (T6) the wiring gets stuffed under the floor, the square plugs are just coupling points where the rear loom and mid loom are joined so these are just unplugged and reconnected minus the plastic bracket so they can all be stuffed out the way, the only consideration really is access to any fuses (if present)

Things are a bit different now (T6.1) as the seats have occupancy sensors and seatbelt sensors that are tied into the safety systems in the van
From a safety point these cannot be left unplugged as i guess theres potential to affect airbag deployment etc ?!?!

The channel is big enough near the center of the van, half way between the B pillars. That is where I tooked mine. I did miss that the middle and rear 12v outlet were dead though, so had to removed the seat base to place fuses which were missing.

The seat belt and seat occupancy sensors are going to be a problem. They can't be permanently disabled as it will result in warning alarms and also the passenger airbag on the dashboard may not work in a crash as there is no-one detected on the seat, so I was told. Setting up a connect/disconnect system for these cables every time the seat is swivelled is the answer but it is getting a bit out of my skill set and I may have to talk to some local van convertors.
