Used Side windows

Hi, looking to get some 2nd row windows fitted to my T6.1.

I would like to go down the oem route of opening windows, I think the locking mechanism of the sliding window changed on the 6.1

Are there any known issues with these windows and is there anything to worry about or look out for in buying 2nd hand units.

I’m sure I’ve seen 6.1 owners reporting that the windows leak from new, have a Search
If you do find some secondhand you need to ask why they have been removed, maybe because they leak.

Yes the T6.1 is a revised design, and yes, they still leak! Ridiculous.
I bought mine as a part and had them fitted so doubt vw would care.
Below is where my sliding door one is leaking. Not from the drains, where from where all the different parts meet and joined
