Hi peoples
After setting up primary user (no other users) my VW id on my T6.1 van and the app on my phone, everything appears to work OK, the van knows my name when starting the engine etc and like wise the vehicle lock/unlock, horn and signals, driving data, health report, authorised workshop, and settings etc work OK on the app.
My issue is when I switch off the engine I momentarily see a message on the infotainment screen saying my user profile is not protected and to go to users section to protect my profile, so I input my S pin tick the check box save my pin press OK done and it works the first time after after when switching off but next time starting my name comes up as you would expect without asking for a pin but when switching off engine again profile not saved.
Anyone else have this message? any ideas vans only 2 years old and second visit to Sittingbourne van centre with a couple of other warranty jobs and a reset of the infotainment system hasn't fixed the S Pin issue
