Pondering the question as per the title really.
I have some Vanstyle LED DRL headlights - I think they call them V4, but they are to all intents and purposes identical looking to the THQ V3 and others.
Like lots of people, I've put LED bulbs into the dipped and main beam - I'm using Philips Ultinon something, which are about 1700 lm and probably around 15-16W
The output isn't great - I don't think it's significantly improved over the stock H4 bulb setup.
Looking at some of the upgraded bulbs, probably all out of the same Chinese factory, there are options which are apparently designed for projector lamps and are significantly brighter - and they would be, because they are 100W+
The current draw is going to be about 10A on something like this - is that going to start melting wiring?
Is anybody using any of these monster monster bulbs or has opted for an HID kit?
