Vanshades installation

I realise this is going back a while but did you manage to fit your splashback onto your vanshades window pod? Any advice appreciated!
I would use sikaflex or alternative to bond the vanshades to the back of the splashback.

Thanks a lot, will give this a go. From what I understand, the vanshades is bonded to the splashback and then the splashback is bonded to 15mm batons which gives enough room for the whole assembly. Fingers crossed!

Is this as easy as they make out on the website? I've seen the YouTube video, which makes it look incredibly simple. Skills just about extend to use of an electric drill in favourable circumstances, so trying to work out whether it's going to be on the right side of doable for me. :D
Hi, I've just remade a tailgate gate lower section plyline full width and depth and carpetted it as the camper conversion guy, had only fitted the plyline panel lower section to the original inner profile of the tailgate leaving bare metal section at either side down to bumper section (pillow wet every morning with condensation and frozen to tailgate this new years eve in Scotland) fits great now no bare metal on show.
But now when I close the blind i have to push the blind at the bottom towards the window to close fully, and it leaks light in at both sides, i think it was forced too close to the window in the first place when drilling/screwing the pod to the tailgate frame.
Watching the vanshades video of fitting the pod, shows a gap to the lower panel initially in the middle before he uses the ratchet jack to support the pod (bending it slightly) before driiling/screwing the pod to the tailgate below the glass?
My conundrum is do I now release the pod from the two lower fixing screws and drill two new holes in the ABS plastic structure that allows the pod to sit in a more natural position
