Vcds manchester

Needle sweep, and Drip wipe. Are the 2 first things. And anything else you may know really. I am surprised it doesn't have come home lighting on it from factory also

Those are fairly easy. By the way the T6.1 does have come home lighting.

This is a job for Captain Carista!
Seriously, you could do these things and more yourself with Carista, currently £44.99 from the Amazon, don't worry about the 'Evo', the basic one is great for my 6.1.
Very often they are on offer for less, but well worth having in your van to keep your eye on soot levels, fault diagnosis and many minor adaptions.
When I grow up, I want VCDS, but for the stuff I needed to do Carista is the ideal tool for me!

What is the difference between the evolution and the cheapest one ? There Is not a lot of money in it . Is there a subscription to pay as well on these ? Also the soot levels, what do you do if they build up ? Long motorway drive ??

The Evo can be used on other makes of vehicles, the basic one I have is just for VW's.
I pay £40 odd a year so use it when I want to, but they come with a trial 30 day period where you can do what you want, just remember to unsubscribe or they will take monies.
Some folk just use the free period then pay a tenner for a month when they want to use it.
You can 'force' a regeneration when parked up, which will start when you go on to a faster stretch of road allowing the revs to be 2k or more. I've never used that, my van behaves and regens well (usually when I have just arrived at my destination!)
Easy to use, just remember to open the bonnet when you are playing/changing things. With the bonnet closed you won't get access to all the features.
