Somewhere along the line someone has to pay for the server and all the associated software etc, not to mention all the Mod’s spending their own free time.
It just doesn’t sit right with me, using the Forum and not putting anything back.
Consequently, I paid for VIP membership almost straight away and have done on every other Forum I’ve been a member of, and anyway, 25p per week isn’t exactly a fortune is it?

I couldn’t have put it better! Ok, @Andyf isn’t great at arithmetic but his points are valid! I would add that given the dross that online newspapers and magazines have behind their paywalls, this forum is a great subscription. Expert knowledge, assistance and some absolutely side-splitting entertainment!

Completely agree! I was just a little more discerning and decided that this is my preferred forum! (Well, it was the only one that would have me!!!)
