Hi, are these the genuine type that will fit my T5 and take the black plastic center caps for steel wheels? Been mucked about so much with what works and now have about 3 sets of useless to me wheel bolts!

Hi morning mark yes these are genuine vw bolts . I have them on my 08 plate van with standard steels and standard wheel covers. Hope this helps
