Hi All,
The broker has been honourable throughout & if not for their MD taking it on personally & being persistent with it, I think there may well have been a legal battle to establish title & determine WHO KNEW WHAT & WHEN (T6 Dave's Dad).
This would have taken months at least, with an injunction against me using the van in the meantime, while it remained unregistered. Out of respect for them, I cannot name the broker when they did sort it in the interests of customer satisfaction & being gentlemanly about it. In tis whole situation, they are the only party (other than myself) who did what they said they would, when they said they would & remained in communication with me.
The dealer however, I have no loyalty to - I take on board the thoughts of the forum members in "socking it to them", but my motives would be for them to really get the gravity of their illegal actions / incompetence & potentially life changing consequences for me. But what is the most effective way of doing this ?
Do I simply write a letter to DVLA & VW UK plus dealer MD (or do I just let the situation catch up with them a surprise event - Ha Ha Ha).
Not sure on how I involve the police as I am 200 miles from the dealer - which constabulary would I involve, the one covering my area or the dealer locality - is there the facility to write to the police or does the DVLA involve them ?
