Vw Option - Twin Halogen Headlights??

From what I have read, it appears that the issues with the Travelin-Lite DRL’s with LED dipped-beam bulbs are
lamp error warning lights appearing and
MOT issues surrounding the bulbs not having the ability to auto-level.

Well that would put me off to be honest. The site says they have load leveling motors and that they will pass an MOT but that the lights are for off road use only. It's a bit contradictory but I guess it depends on your appetite for risk at the end of the day!

Spec from the Travelin Lite website:

"Please note: These will fit all models of T6 and work on Euro 5 & Euro 6 engines.

I think it should be phrased as "they ought to get through an MOT, providing that you have a friendly tester.

As I say, I have explored many light options and the factory order LEDs are a fantastic buy. Wish I'd known this at the time of ordering!!
I'm going for the Lazer Lamp option.

Thanks for all the advice. I have gone for the H7 option, will let you know what I think.

Pretty sure they are going to be a huge downgrade from the LED’s on my Golf R
