Vw t6 coming next week

Hi, I’m new to the vw camper/day van

I just purchased a t6 lwb transporter….just wondering if the 17” swamper with bfg tyres is a good idea?. Its a 4 motion and plan to turn into a day van along with some additional extras

Congrats - exciting times.

Is your new van a T28, T30 or T32? You need to consider load ratings of any replacement wheels and tyres.

I had 235/70/16 BFGs and 16" Modular Steel wheels at one point on my previous van.

It’s a T32 lwb. The ones I have seen are 17” alloys with the bfg tyres… it says there be fine on the site however am just bit unsure on clearance as only 16” standard on at the min.
