Hello everyone I know there is tonnes of information on here in regards to all terrain tyres but I’m finding a lot of it a bit much to digest .
Now i would like too fit A/T tyres too my standard t6 wheels and understand that they need too have i higher load rating etc but what I’m finding difficult is the sizes of walls etc ,I’ve been looking at fallen wild peak atw3’s as I’ve read they are strong all rounders .
What size is going too give me more off an off road look and not do a world of trouble too my speedometer 95% off the time its motorway miles and I’m keen too not get stuck on a campsite .
I would like too fill the wheel arch nicely and possibly put 15mm hubcentric spacers the whole way round ,
Can somebody just please tell me what size i need .

Many thanks mitch

I think 235/65/16 is the largest tyre I've read about being fitted to a 16 inch rim on a T6.
On a T32 you must have a tyre that has a minimum 103 load rating.

Thank you Dave ,
Have you got any experience with having A/T tyres on your van ?

I wouldn't put them on my van, I've used plenty of farm pick ups with various makes of AT tyres and I don't like their performance on tarmac, or lack of.
You need an AT tyre on a farm so you have to accept the compromise but I couldn't put up with them on my van, I use All Season tyres, currently Michelin Cross Climate 2's.
That's just my view though, plenty of people have used Falken WildPeak tyres on their T6's and I've read plenty of good comments about them.

I have ATs on my van and as an elderly retired class 1 dibble driver I know push harder than most. Even in the hissing rain of late, weather for which typical 'summer' tyres are not well suited, I've not had any issues with tarmac performance.

It's simply a matter of adapting your style to alter the manner in which you load them in corners and the like, and the smooth and progressive style I was taught is perfectly suited to it, whereas the younger point and squirt merchants don't seem to adapt so well.

I think I've read on here somewhere that not all T32's came out of the factory with big brakes.
True.
@asterxoxo from your opening post, I assume that the van has 16" wheels at the moment?
If not, you need to check what size brakes it has as 16's may not fit over the calipers.
Check out this post for reference. The pictures show the different calipers for the small 308mm and large 340mm front discs. It can be difficult to eyeball the sizes.
I'll vouch for the Falken Wildpeaks. The way the tread pattern extends around the sidewall makes them look chunkier than they are. Admittedly that makes them less capable off road than an extreme A/T tyre but they're still decent enough for soggy campsites and farm tracks!
I run them in 235/65/17 on the van (90mm drop and uprated anti-roll bars) and 245/70/16 on our standard Isuzu D'max pick up. I'm happy with how the van drives but the D'max wouldn't handle with 20" slicks...
