Morning All. Can anyone recommend suspension specialist who could help me, ideally up to 100 miles from London? Thanks

Just had a water tank fitted and was assured it will be postioned for perfect weight distibution, but when full it seats much lower at the back. To be fair drives great, no issues here, feels better than my old caddy with much smaller tank.

Would you advise to move the tank a bit forward, or work on van's suspension? Thinking to stiffen rear and lower the front.

If you're not concerned about lowering then some T32 springs would probably do the trick, plenty available probably for free if you're lucky.

We can certainly help you out. And make it drive better in the process.

Happy to chat on the phone if easier.

No one likes a saggy bottom ;-)

I never travel with more than a few litres of water in the tank as can fill up when I get to the location. Most of the time I carry 5 litres in a reusable carry bag and this covers the journey. I always empty the "grey tank" before moving when I can.

A full water tank is like carrying another person in a campervan and wastes fuel.

Definately dont need to move the tank , you simply need a LONGER rear spring ( not heavy duty one ) , The rear spring is more than capable of carrying the weight you will have in that Van but once the static weight is increased ( water tank) the spring needs to be slightly longer and the result wont be uncomfortable as it would fitting a stronger spring.

Make sure if you fit an after market kit that the rear springs are fit for the purpose because we have removed too many that simply cant cope with the heavier vans IE campers , the rear springs break all to easy .
