Newbie here to the forum.
Picked up my 69 plate T6 Kombi Highline DSG two weeks ago and planning some modest changes to make it a day van for me, the wife and grandchild. Coming to this size of van from a Nissan NV200 is taking a bit of getting used to along with only one sliding door now. Also coming to auto from always driving manual is challenging.
Plans include:
Sound deadening and insulation.
Ply floor, roof and wall panels.
Carpeting walls, etc...
Twin benches behind second row seats that can become a bed when seats are folded flat.
Upgrade speakers and head unit.
Possibly 18" alloys?
Possibly lowered a bit?
Both the wife and I are both shortarsed so no need for a pop top.
Forum seems like a great resource for T6 owners.

Hello everyone. Happy to be part of the transporter community : Just got a second hand silver T32 with 30k miles on the clock. So far I have a troublesome start as, despite being and Approved VW vehicle, it had a faulty engine light on delivery… has to go back…
When sorted I’d like to pimp it a bit before it gets converted next month.

Hi just joined the forum , currently have a t32 kombi t5 which I’ve had for 6 years and have been extremely happy with but it’s now time for a change and am currently looking at an 18 plate t32 t6 kombi dsg

Hi all, just picked up a T6 and joined the forum. I have had a 2005 T5 camper for the last 7 years so just upgrading. I must say that I am well chuffed . Went for a 2016 highline, 204 dsg. Will be converting into a camper next year. These forums have always helped me along the way with bits and bobs.

Newbie here. I bought the van about three weeks ago, and I love it. By far the best Vehicle I've ever purchased. So versatile. I'd welcome any top tips and recommendations for getting even more out of it. Couple of things I'm considering right now:
1) Dog cage/cargo separator - Would welcome any advice for the forum members?
2) Modifications - I'm considering changing the coils/suspension for a more comfort/less roll and upgrading the brakes to 8 pot callipers. Again any recommendations are welcome.
3) Seat covers - We're back and forth to the beach, kids in wetsuits getting in and out. Anyone recommend good seat covers?
I look forward to contributing to the forums.
