Welcome new members

Hi, new Forum member. T5.1 owened for 5 years. Team White. Kombi, 4Motion Bitdi 180+. Former emergency services walki takie demo van. Fitted out as a rolling office, by Co Trim. Did have 6 twigs on the roof. Has a deisel nightheater. Amazing when camping. Top end refreshed last year and new turbo.
Just fitted 4 Michelin cross latitudes 245 65 R17. filled the arch front to back. Factory steels. I have searched the forum for intel on spacer size. Decided to go 15mm each side front. 30mm Rear each side. Open to any words of wisdom and recomended suppliers of spacers.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

The van sounds an interesting build - any photos of the interior? I ask as I have a CoTrim kit (made by Dub Plastics).

Re: spacers, Watfields are well recommended on here if your purse won’t stretch to H&R. I’ve run 20mm with longer bolts for a few years with no issue.

Hi there, the CoTrim is the interior fit out firm. They fitted two quick release captain chairs as office chairs in the rear.

Long term lurker finally signed up! Couldn’t see the thumbnail photos very well and thought it’s about time.

Used the info on here to decide on a TSI and spent months in 2018 trying to find a suitable used one, but gave up and ended up getting a good discount and buying new, not realising they would stop production just after I got my order in - phew!

Thanks for adding me to your group. I am looking for a low mileage T6 shuttle at the moment. Had caravelles in the past. I'd like an auto but concerned as the old autos were a bit problematic, Tony. Got lots of other questions as well

Hi everyone, quick introduction... I bought my kombi a couple of months ago and now got it looking like this...

Lot more to do/change till I'm 100% happy with it, but I'm getting there.

Great forum with plenty of good advise, which has helped me loads already.

Morning All,

We have just secured our first van after wanting one for years. Wish we had done it before COVID but there ya go...We got one now. We do quite a bit of camping and it was starting to become a struggle in my estate car with roof box. Then we also got a dog so there goes a seat in the car. Anyway...all that is going to be a thing of the past when we pick our new motor up!

Hi All,

I've used this forum on a many occasions looking for solutions or advice, thought I'd join up now. Take advantage of the wealth of knowledge available !!

I bought my bus last May and have modded it over the past few months, love the 'swamper' look, do a lot of MTB'ing and Hiking so this is the perfect van for me, '68 plate Startline, camper converted, poptop, DRL's, rear LED's and SQ indicators, dropped 40mm (considering taking it back up though) 17" KMC Holeshots with BFG AT's

Only 4k on the clock when I bought it... has 11k on it now... I love it.

Looking to add a solar panel, extra LB, inverter etc, make it a little more 'off grid'

And hoping to install a Planar Diesel heater next month.

Any advice on these two upgrades greatly appreciated !!
