Hi, just joined the forum, new to campervanning but weve had our T6 for about 6 months and love it. We're getting away in it most weekends. I was having a chat with a pal last night who told me avout the awesome T6 forum get togethers. I see there's one next week, I know it's very near but is their any availability still for this event? Look forward to watching and learning.

New member here so please bear with me.
I May have some "stupid" questions along the way, realise there is an absolute wealth of info on here so thanks in advance for current content and future help and will endeavour to research first.
Just picked up our 'new to us' Caravelle 4m 204 dsg. So made up with it, it's been something of a wish I certainly have had since is was a teen so pretty chuffed 3 decades on.
Having watched this forum for many years its a good feeling we can join and hopefully contribute to it and other members.

Hi just a quick introduction I’m Drew sadly I don’t own a T6 just yet but I do however drive a Vw T5.1 lwb shuttle so know my way round the transporter platform/layout it’s inevitable il end up in a T6 at some point down the line.. so may as well sign up and find my feet first

Hi Pauly, Thank you for letting me join.
Had my recent T6 for 4.5 years now and has been a workhorse for my joinery business, It was definitely time for an upgrade to the new T6.1
Unfortunately i've only been waiting 7 months for it and now has been delayed another 3 months.
I've always wanted to convert a van and now as i have a small family its the right time to convert the standard panel van into a Kombi / Sleeper.
Looking forward to reading up on all the topics and the answers to the questions that i have needed answering for such a long time.
Will definitely be joining the VIP group.

Been a crafter owners for a while and now just changing to a T6. Very excited and looking forward to trips out and getting used to a much smaller van. Also having a look around the forum.
Welcome to the forum - and to car parks with a 2m height restriction! The search button is your friend (amazing what you find - and you never knew you needed!), as is everyone on here. And don't forget - photos - or it never happened!!

Just bought our first T6 after looking at them on and off for the last couple of years!
Currently it's a standard (Ex RAC) Van which we'll be looking to convert to a day van over the next 6-12 months so I'm sure I'll have some stupid questions along the way, so apologies in advance.
I've already made 2 mistakes with tyres and Insurance so not the best start, but this forum has already helped me out on those issues.
Anyway thanks for letting me join and I look forward to getting lots of advice and ideas.

@Frosty1979. Welcome to T6F. What mistakes did you make? Such things are always good to know about so that others can avoid repeating them wherever possible
