Hi All,
Just purchased my SWB T6. Currently planning to use it as a works vehicle.... believe it or not! Then will be converting it in 18-24months into a camper. Will be installing drawers in the back under a false floor just to get an idea of space! Going to spend the rest of this weekend trawling the forum!!
I’ll post updates as I go - Unfortunately the colour will be going, full wrap in company colours, Orange, Black and White!!

I'm sure the engine will be fine, that's pretty low mileage for a 3 year old Transporter.

Hi all. I finally bit the bullet and transferred the money over to buy a T6 transporter. I did dip into this forum a couple of times before making the purchase to get some ideas.
I have settled on a 68 plate Highline T28 SWB diesel. 6.5k miles. So a nearly new van. I have a company who will convert it for me so all the hard work will done for me. I was wondering what the hive mind would say is 'essentials' in the conversion before I take the van over for talks with Chris (the man who will be doing all the work)?

So, my van was delivered on Wednesday after a long wait and I’ve got to say I absolutely love it already. My last car was an Audi A6 Avant s- line so left some serious comfort etc but my van is soooooo much better. I’ve had loads of cars over the years, some VDubs (golf gti’s VR6’s) Lancia Delta Integrale, Cosworths etc but my new van beats them all, it’s ace <3
I did the same, swapped an A6 avant black edition 272 for my van, never been happier.

Hi everyone new to me T6 102 startline,
Planning on making it a 6 seater to start with then possibly when my 2 eldest have grown up enough, start turning it into a camper as we wont need 6 seats then.
Picked it up last week
Over the weekend the bulkhead and ply lining came out then a bit of a tidy up. The kids even wanted to help!

Welcome along.
Have a search for Caravelle or Kombi conversions on here, as that combination should give you the seating numbers that you’ll need.

Morning guys. Joined the forum this morning. No stranger to VAG - VWs Audi’s T3s T4s - now 2017 150hp T6 kombi twin slider on Bilsteins and banded steels in pure grey.
I’m towing a small trailer camping soon, and was wondering if I could code the van to be able to activate the rear view camera on the motorway just to periodically check the trailer.
Any ideas?

I’ve been reading bits and bobs on here the last few week and have signed up now, it’s been real helpful so thanks all for contributions!
I’m hoping to purchase a T6 sportline Kombi next week after a lot of wanting, will be my first ever VW!
It’s going to be for work but also family as the kids can jump in and we can get all their bikes and scooters or what ever they need in all while I can use for work daily!
There’s a few bits I’ll need right away, it’s a glazed tail gate so I’ll need a security panel, also there’s no bulk head which I will also need. Then I’m sure I’ll be getting more and more bits as I go!!

Hello and welcome! Plenty of people doing conversions so finding a bulkhead shouldn’t be too much of a problem - have a look in the for sale/wanted forum as they often come up for sale.

Hi! Just came here to say hi! Still waiting for my new 110kw DSG T6 Multivan with Family pack. Just one more week and it will arrive.
