Just recently picked up my first camper, really looking forward to getting out in him this year. Already learning loads from this forum.
Hi guys, just signed up here as just bought a T6 and was browsing to get inspiration for some visual upgrades. Here she is -
I pick it up Sunday so its exciting times! Got all the extras I wanted (apart from electric folding mirrors but hey ho). Crying out for wheels, coils and sport line kit. Due to being a long wheel base, I'm still wondering whether 18s will be ok once lowered, or whether I'd have bottoming issues on driveways. I've got a T5 currently which is pretty low, but on 20's. Do belly out on a few driveways but nothing too bad. In fairness she's quite agile for a low old girl! So m much more practical than she looks.
Where should I start my search for photos of vans with wheels fitted etc, and styling options so I can get some ideas for my new van? Im still wondering whether 18s would look too small on a long wheel base, but after having 19's and 20's on the t5 I'm fed up of expensive tyre bills.
I'm hoping you guys will all enjoy my journey from bog standard van to full swag wagon!

I’ve just joined today I have had my new T6 Kombi edition coming up 6months now and its my first transporter and wow I can’t get enough of it, I am slowly transforming it will post some Pics shortly hope to chat to you all soo.

Hello all, just got a buyer for my 18 year old T4 so I’m off out tomorrow T6 Kombi shopping at VW, it’ll be my 5th VW in 20 years and I had the T4 for the last 8, so any advice regards any T6 probs welcome. Hoping for a 150 dsg which will be getting trimmed to the Max as it’ll be my demo vehicle as I mainly reupholster and trim classic cars and motorcycles. Looking forward to learning about these modern vans and sharing mine with you
Hi all, joined a week ago after getting my 1st t6 caravelle - an upgrade with 4 kids from vw sharan. Have to say I love it - despite not having LED lights.... wish I'd joined before I bought!!! Already bought and fitted mats from rugs for bugs and spare wheel protector "spare safe", and just ordered osram night breaker bulbs for my H7 lights... maybe the carista obd2 next ... thanks for sharing all your advice and look forward to meeting maybe at an event soon

Hello! I’m Jamie, I have owned my first transporter for 3 months now. Purchased new from JCB Volkswagen. A black T32 T6 highline DSG. I’m in love and would love to know more about the Transporter scene.

I think this happens if you paste a photo directly into the post from your phone, I couldn’t find a way to stop it happening. If you use the “upload a file” button below it should only do it once though
