West Yorkshire Servicing Advice

Hi,

Looking for some advice please. I've a 2018 Transporter due a services, its only been ours for 12 months so this will be its first service. Any recommendations for places near Huddersfield?
The Engine light has just come on with 15916 - Cylinder 1 Glow Plug Circuit Fault, so I'll need that looking at whilst its in for service.

VW VC Hudds is in Cleckheaton. I had some good experiences with them re warranty work, then a couple of bad experiences with their servicing.
I now go to Mark at IVS VAG Specialists just outside Hudds. Although, I sometimes wonder if he knows what he’s on about.
BUT…….he’s always done good work and is honest enough not to do work that didn’t need doing. Labour rate is reasonable and he has all the VW stuff to upload your service onto the VW service portal thing.
I take my van and my car there (or at least I did until I woke up this morning to find a lorry had hit my car overnight and fts - Ins already declared it a write-off).

It’s ripped through the top of the front wing without touching anything below and had enough force to rotate the car in the road as the point of contact ripped out of the front wing.
Can’t see a car hitting that high.
I might know for sure when next door get home from work and check their cctv for me.

Already in discussion about buying it back as part of settlement. It just needs a wing and bonnet. Quick bolt up repair.

Crying shame, feel for you.
Turns out it was a flatbed. CCTV doesn’t quite show the VRM or the company logo.
Now I have the time of the collision I’ve got some neighbours up the road checking their cctv. Our road isn’t so busy at 0709 and there’ll only be the one flatbed at that time.
Won’t really make much difference but it would be nice to find out.
