Westfalia Kepler One

We have a leak and it seems to be coming from behind the shower attachment. We had it fixed under warranty about 2 years ago but the pipes leading to the attachment have likely come loose again. We need to get in there to reattach them and wondered if anyone has any experience of this..,.does the shower connection plate come off? Many thanks in advance

Just had a friend been to Germany and looked at a VW Westfalia Kevlar One based on a VW T6, it looks very cleverly designed and a lot of thought put into it for a self contained vehicle, I googled it.
Thread should read Kevlar One, but I couldn’t edit it?
I have a 2023 Kepler one sitting here. Lots of good features, few less so. The shower is laughable for internal use but a real boon if used outside with the tailgate up. Sand removal after beach or mucky dog washing etc. Fridge efficient and plenty big enough. If you have any queries that can’t be answered by reading the online brochure I am at your disposal.

Hi I am just about to purchase a Kepler one , what do you love about it and what do you dislike about it? How easy is the bottom bed to make up and use ? Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I'm afraid @jesgas hasn't been seen since last year.

@MikeS (?) or possibly @andys I believe had a Westfalia so may be able to answer.

Possibly I've got the name wrong.

It was @andys who had the Westfalia Club Joker but he hasn't been seen since 2022.

Thank you 🙏🏻 I hope someone on the forum may be able to help
Hi, I’m very new to the forum, I do check in to find really useful tips so thought I should support the form and register. We’ve had a Westfalia Kepler One for 18 months now and we love it. Did a lot, lot, lot of research before buying and the Kepler One suits our needs in just about every way. We were lucky to find a pre loved RHD from 2020 and I’m struggling to think of anything we don’t like about it. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do.

Thank you so much for the feedback . We were just a little worried about making up the bed as it seems like a jigsaw puzzle and a tad difficult ? We really do want one and hope to get a LHD one very soon

It’s like everything - easy when you know how! Not sure if you’re looking at a new 2025 version where things might have changed, but if it’s the same bed as 2020, you just remove the cushions, pop the table into place and place the mattress on top which is stored in the cupboard opposite the sink. We swap the cushions into that empty cupboard at night so the space remains uncluttered. I’d be surprised if we go over 1 minute to set the bed up now. The bed becomes a small double and we’ve come up with an extra little hack to make it a single size. Either way, it’s super comfortable and worth the setup compromise for a great sleep.

I should add, we were impressed with the very easy RIB (?) bed system in the new Club Joker City but it makes the bed quite high off the floor. Not sure how that would work when the roof is down for the upper bed. Could be a bit claustrophobic maybe.

Thanks again for take my the time to reply .. would love photos of what you do re cushions etc ? Yes agreed re city club joker and I think the vehicle is a little shorter too but I like the look of the Kepler just need to sort out LHD and import to Spain or buy in Spain which both are very challenging indeed . Thanks so much for all your feedback it is very reassuring
