What’s the best head unit available?

Wish I'd have played around with a couple to see the difference between the two units. I've recently purchased the halo unit, yet to install. I'm sure it will be a good unit tho.

could you help me in telling me what the differences are between the dmx8019 dabs and dmx8020 dabs units.
i Have a 2016 T6 Cali and I am unsure which one I should be going for.
the cali has sensors front and back + reverse camera.
Also I would like to add a front camera if it’s possible with either of these two units.
Not much in it, the 8020 is slightly newer and came with wireless android equipped… both units have wireless apple CarPlay , though the 8019 can do it , it came out before wireless android was released.. but if you run android then I do suggest going for the 8020
the graphics in my opinion are better with the 8019 and it will display more on the mfd
both will work with the factory parking sensors, reverse cam using the correct parts, and again both have front dash cam control
Thank you for reply and info Absolute5. I run with apple so would possibly be the 8019. Can you give me a ball park figure of costs unit, fitting kit, facias etc, including that of an extra front camera and required harness.

I’m afraid you will struggle to find a 8019/8020 anywhere in the uk… and when they do become available they will no doubt go up in cost so costing is will not be accurate
I do all the parts in stock though

Hi mate its the standard one it does everything but doesn't have satnav, think there are 2 above this from vw?
Completely different as your one has all the connections behind the screen
the units above have a separate module behind the dash where the connections are, then A cable runs from the module to the screen.. so not a simple swap over
But do you think its possible?
Hi mate I can get the head unit and MIB3 box but didn't want to buy them if it can't be done
you will need extensions to go from the old headunit down to the right side of the glovebox area
