What Coffee Machine do you have in your van?

Thinking of going down the 'bean' route....does anyone have any recommendations for a manual grinder?
You've made me think that I must try harder at Summer Camp to find someone who does the 'bean thing' and to cadge a cup (I'll bring my own mug). I'm sure someone lovely will be there to owe yet another favour to!

if you are after the full espresso taste you need a fine grinder and not unexpectedly these can be expensive, particulalry when you factor in ceramic burr grinders. I love beans and bought the now discountinued 1Zpresso K-Max. Works well with my mokka and delivers a full bodied coffee to set you up for the camping day.

Found a few of the 1Zpresso on google around the £200 mark....so im guessing the cheaper ones churn out the equivalent of sawdust?
Hmmm...more to it than meets the eye me thinks.

that sounds steep. So just checked and i have the 1zpresso JX Pro S which i cant find for sale so I am guessing its been replaced by something They have spec'd this as 0.0125mm per click which looks to be a bottom end grinder. Their flagship is 0.008mm per click which is super fine. I think i paid £140ish for mine. There is an Amazon sale coming up

so based on this conversation with @Ricardo T I decided to upgrade my mokka. I cannot justify the £399 9barista but could afford its Chineese Bincoo 120ml Stovetop espresso maker, Amazon clone at £67. It does make a rather nice coffee straight out the box. Need to explore its potential @Drive Wayne to note:)

Duly noted and understood! There's only one way to find out how good it is, I would be more than happy to give my completely non expert opinion, and greatly look forward to seeing you at Busfest(?)

This one is really good. Adds to the ritual of coffee making, sitting there grinding the beans by hand.

Seeing the 12V coffee machine reminded me of a purchase made some 30 years ago of an element that plugged into a cigarette lighter and was supposed to quickly boil a cup for tea. Being bereft of funds back then we thought it would be ideal. Err no - had we not given up after 30 minutes I suspect we would still be in that Vauxhall Cavalier waiting for it to boil.
