What colour wheel? Team White

I have a set of steels I’m thinking of painting Candy white with black caps….just for my entertainment (and let the boys use a spray gun!)

I have satin black calibre’s which I really like.
But I’ve just purchased these bronze super metals which will arrive Thursday. Just for a change. I’m hoping they’ll work with the orange.

They look good ….what size tyres have you fitted ?
I’ve just swapped the tyres from my old wheels which won’t be staying on. I didn’t realise these wheels were wider the than calibre’s. These tyres are 255/35/20. I like the look but them rims need some Protection. I’ve been looking at 265/35 or 40 /20. Whichever I can get the load rating with.
My van doesn't get used as a daily so it can look good sat on the drive until I can get some tyres sorted.

So I'm just about the push the button on some 20" Inovit Rotors with a staggered fitment and I CANNOT decide between the satin Silver with machined face or the dark tint with machined face.
I've got a White van which has gloss black parts and Blue painted bigger calipers.
I'm getting rid of the Black wheels because they just look like dark voids and you can't see the design unless they are freshly cleaned.

Or will they look rubbish and should I wait for the Frixion 5 to come back in stock in Silver?

So post your choices please!
My van is the one in the bottom three photos.

My choice would be silver, but I just love silver wheels!

Oh, I’m an Inovit dealer by the way, so I could supply either colour for you……
Thank you!
I love the Silver too but scared of making an expensive mistake. Several people have said there should be a contrast of dark on white.
Where abouts are you? And what tyres would you recommend on a 8.5"/10" staggered setup? I want as much comfort as possible but ideally a bit of rim protection

This one...

Apologies! I have been at work and missed this!

Rubber will never protect your rim - it will merely cushion the blow! If you seek such protection, don’t gape is my advice as a big rim is just asking for it!

That was my shocked face (I don't use it often)

Apologies, I didn’t recognise you from this perspective!

I know you're right, I suppose it's because at the moment I'm running a 255/50/19 tyre on a 8.5J wheel so it does give some good sidewall and rubber edge.
Basically I don't want it stretched and a bit of edge would be nice even for slow speed manoeuvring.

Personally, I'd stay away from polished faces. They have great showroom appeal, but lack durability.

As for colour, silver all the way. Have a look at the silver wheels on my candy white van in this shameless for sale ad plug.

The ideal tyre sizes can vary depending on your vans load rating and if you are lowered and by how much, but I prefer staggered width tyres on staggered wheels when possible.

If you can let me know the load rating of your van and how much your van is lowered, if at all, I can offer you some further advice.
