What happens to the jack bracket when the flooring is laid?

Nobody leaves the jack in factory position surely?

I'm currently laying silent coat on interior wheel arches.

Then flooring. No carpet just arch covers but with or without jack bracket?

Cut it off. With angle grinder.

Grind smooth with grinder.

Paint bare metals to rust proof.

Then carpet or what ever.

Keep Jack under seat or else where in van.

Or lose Jack and rely on AA etc to change a wheel.

I have storage for jack.

Is this something that is done by conversion companies?

Could you store the jack in the 'well' of the spare wheel under the van? Appreciate if you got a puncture on the rear in some cases you may need to jack the van up a bit to get the spare out.

I left mine on as it fits neatly with the towbar when that is stowed.
I carpeted the plastic part of the jack and it looks quite neat.

I want arch covers. Preferably without the cut out for bracket.
Hi @Smileysmile .
I have a set fitted without the jack cutout.

Contact RGM Automotive, who manufacture the wheel arch covers.
Explain that you would like a set without the jack bracket cutout. They will advise you how to place an order including a note regarding no cutout. They will then make them without the cutout. No extra charge!

Just fitted new wheel arch covers. Did you use existing fixings? I think longer ones are needed. Not sure where to look for them. I'm thinking of having mine painted before the floor is laid. I don't intend on carpeting. I have to look for someone who will paint them.

You need to remove the panels, fit arch covers in place and then I used original fittings, as the arch covers are only about a mm thick and fit under the liner panels.
Excuse pic, but Kombi is in utility mode @ mo!

I have trimmed 1cm off the one to fit under rail.
I am going to enquire about painting them next week. Then get the floor installed.
Yes, I noticed the lip of cover goes under panel
