What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Commenced installation of Eton speakers set and door/doorcard sound deadening. 1 door complete, other to finish tomorrow. Installation of Puddle lights and fitted dashboard USB retention cable. Then a test till after the weekend.
 
Fitted a bigger storage box on the bike rack and replaced the strut fittings from a 10mm ball fitting to 13mm ball fitting and 1600nm struts

These struts are quite the upgrade over the 1200 and 1250nm struts i had on there before, the lower strut mount needs to be removed and the riveted ball pin drilled out for the larger ball pin.

I ran new LED interior lights in a few months back. Today I finally fitted a new rocker switch to do away with the factory rockers in the ceiling when I retrim it. Also added USB charging port while I was at it..........I'm quite pleased with the result.

Hi mate, looks good that. In the middle of lining at the minute and would like more lights. Any chance of a link to the lights, switch and USB you used please? Thanks, John

I'm too think and can't work out how to do links via my phone from eBay.....sorry. I've just screen shot them instead.

@Eli1264 , Sorry to hear this Chris, you must be gutted, as you only bought it late last year.
What's next, T6.1?
Did you sell it on with air still fitted?
I know you previously said that nothing is for life - not even the wife, but you sure do like changing your vehicles more often than most!!
On a positive note, just remember, if you buy another Bamboo Green, I have a spare touch up stick!! If you don't, then I owe you a cold beer or 2 when our paths cross again.

Ha ha, thanks John. I bought a BMW X5 but the plan it to buy a 6.1 panel van and turn it into a day van myself. I’m done paying people to wreck things. But I am having a clear out of me Caravelle/ California gear :rolleyes:
