That’s funny! While I’m actually there, washing the van, and I had just done that bit. At least it wasn’t the roof. I can just imagine his nasty little Muttley chuckle as he flew off. Dirty flying rat.

Childsplay! Cutting the hole in ur van and Fitting your own poptop, now thats arse twitchy stuff!@andrew2767. To paraphrase an old adage, that's a classic case of 'measure 50 times and cut once'!
Always has to be one that has to go one better haChildsplay! Cutting the hole in ur van and Fitting your own poptop, now thats arse twitchy stuff!
@andythom188 Just done the same with a 250w panel. Are you going to blank off the front hollows or leave them open? Its a photouniverse 350w panel
I've blanked the fronts off as to stop the wind getting underneath the panel while driving but left the rear open for heat to dissipate@andythom188 Just done the same with a 250w panel. Are you going to blank off the front hollows or leave them open?
A bead of silkaflex in the recess fish & few others have done the same, did think about some kind of wind deflector. What did you use to blank off? I have been trying to find a suitable rubber moulding with no solution.
Black 521uv i used bought off amazonMany thanks. Will try that. Unfortunately I could only source sikaflex 292i in white so might have to get some 291i
@Andysmee - You can mever have enough lights. You didn't have enough lights already?

We did one today with a few tweaks. 100 mm front and 95 rearIs that the max drop on that kit?
@moomin-j Do you have a link for that container?Stripped off a few parts of the bike rack last week & sent them to the powder coaters:

Bought a plumbers 2m copper pipe tube rack, cut it down to 1.55m & had that coated as well.
Fitted everything back today

Lost the ability to carry 4 bikes...
But as the moomin family consists of just the 3 of us, then its not too much of a deal breaker.

I can now carry the windbreak outside of the van, rather than taking precious room up inside the van...
I can also just about squeeze the 6m flag pole, ground stake & the figure of 8 in there as well - bonus!!
