If it was clear both ways where did the car come from?

That fact that you hit the back of the car can’t help you case. Can/will insurance companies use dashcam evidence in this sort of incident or will they not bother? surely if you are in the right and have video then the insurance companies will sort it out?

Hit the front of car, then all down their side (so front to back) as they carried on through. My insurance said fault claim but will look into it (bet they don’t).

Maybe it's me, but if someone starts doing a 3 point turn in the middle of a busy road, as they regularly do near me, and expect everyone else to be inconvenienced because they couldn't be arsed inconveniencing themselves by driving a little further and reversing into a side street, then I'm always going past the front mid-maneouvre.

We have a "corner shop" at the end of our road with double yellows for the first 10 or so meters
So they park on the double yellows then want to do a 3/20 point turn to get back on the main road if I pull into the road hard luck bruv your going the way your car was facing next road 50mts down takes you back to the main road any way

Feel your pain.. sign of modern day drivers.. impatient and dangerous.. just common sense to wait regardless where it is! wonder if they would have driven past a learner doing a 3 point turn in a test in the same manner???

Dash cam shows clear by at least 150 yards on final reverse, few seconds later into me. Going to do some calculations. Also road 7.8m wide, side on I’m 4.9m and in middle of road so 2.9m max, or 1.44m each end - the Citron is 1.8 wide so would not fit!

Must stop overthinking this!

Fitted this alarm to our side door for when parked on location at night / working away / camping.

Works on vibration / touch in case anyone snooping through windows. Be interested to see how it goes. Will report back soonish.

If you know the time and distance you can calculate his speed. With any luck it'll be demonstrably above the limit.

Thanks Sasquatch, will do the calculations and use the works GIS of road distances / widths - getting obsessed now (never thought a vehicle I owned would do that to me - then found a T6 - and she hurt my baby

Probably not so much the extra cost, just annoyed 40 years, no accidents and no points.

The more I watch the dashcam the more annoyed I get - obviously (to me) not paying attention as came steamrolling through when no room - still think it weird when she said ‘what do you think I should do, an emergency stop at 30 mph’ -why is it an emergency stop!

Anyway may need to lick my wounds and put it down to experience as so busy at work and with helping brand new grandson (so daughter support).

Every other morning going past Great Barr high school, Birminghamshire, on my motorbike, I get upset by a "she" doing a 3 point turn, there is just no lookage! Braked hard this morning... not even an apologies wave... must admit my wife drives better than me, probably because she drove a 4-3-2 when she was in the Army...
