What Would You Change About Your Camper?

Away at Travelvolts at the moment getting a full electrical set up installed in my daughters sprinter. Will try and take photos this weekend of the curtain in the T6.

Cheers but that’s not a thermal screen. It actually says to double it up with a insulator. Looks a good black out blind though

The best thermal screens go on the outside of the glass, these type are especially good at preventing condensation...

Either way hope you find a solution that works for you

Thanks for the guidance. I ruled out those as I thought they would just get wet when it rains and then I’d have to stow them somewhere wet when we moved on but maybe I’m thinking about it wrong, better wet blinds than condensation everywhere! Cheers for the advise

I thought the same, packing away a soggy, soaked through windscreen cover wasn't appealing.. but they are waterproof which means the rain water generally beads off them, any left on just give it a good shake before packing away and a quick wipe over with a micro fibre towel on the thermal side.... After much deliberation I think the money invested in the rainbow screens cover is money well spent.

Just been checking them out, looks good but nearly £200!

Another wallet battering purchase. Part of me of thinking buy a cheaper one and see how it goes but buy cheap, buy twice right?!

Hey, @Markymark when you swap your bike rack and want to sell your VW one, drop me a line please :)

That got this vulture circling.... :D
I have a Thule tow bar cycling rack. It suits us because it flips back out of the way of the lift up door and it’s easily removed when we don’t want to take the bikes.
The only thing to bear in mind is that it will stick out further from the rear of the vehicle that a bike rack fitted to the vehicle.

I think I'd ditch the ehu as rarely stay at campsites and go solar instead.

I like that Loc8 table. I'd have one of those.

I'd consider not having windows and blinds as I'm mostly stealth camping and go for some kind of 360 camera system.
The Loc8 table looks great but at nearly £300 it seems like a lot of money for a table.. I do like the idea though

Don't you lose the ability to slide it on the table rail below the worktop...?

You do, but I don’t miss it.

I couldn’t get the table close enough to the front swivel for my kids to eat, but with the Loc-8, I can slide it up to them.

I like the flexibility of being able to position it anywhere including outside when the weather is good.

To be fair you can still use the clip on table too if it came with your camper anyway then you can have both an inside table and outside table but the 4 legs on the loc8 table means that you only need to carry one and still have an indoor/outdoor table. And all for less than £300! Bargain ;)

What would I change....
I love my T6 but it’ll be on Autotrader in a day or so as I upgrade from this

Hopefully to this...(this belongs to Richard Hales, the guy who is doing the work, and it is almost identical to mine which is currently being converted by him.)
