I’m tending towards leaving it well alone til Monday then contacting the garage, but…
Got my clutch and DMF replaced yesterday after 170k. Drive home was only a mile but it was a very good experience. Went to it today to just go for a pleasure drive and the clutch pedal stayed down - ignition prevented by the ECU and a message on the dash to say press clutch.
I lifted it by hand and gave it a few pumps. Works fine now. I’m guessing it needs bleeding?
I need to visit my elderly father in law tomorrow. Do I take the van, or do we use our other car and report the clutch issue to the garage on Monday?
Bleeding the clutch sounds like a doable process but I’m thinking best leave it to the garage since they have just done the work.
I trust the garage - they have been good to me over the years.
