thats not OEM,?

you got a conversion inside?

water tank?

heater?

battery?

Does it still have a lowered floor where the ramp was? If so the tank will have been dropped 150mm to clear it and that metal, tray is to protect the plastic tank. I converted a wheelchair access shuttle back to standard and it involved chopping out the whole rear floor - it's covered in the forum somewhere.
Post some pics of the back of your van - inside and underneath

I can take pics later this afternoon.

Not the best pics as I was under the van.
Looks like the ramp angle is still there and they just put a new floor over the top of it. I can’t seem to see if above the fuel tank as been cut and dropped.

That looks the same as mine was. Was ramp installation by Brookmiller? What they do is chop out the floor and all chassis cross members between the two longitudal chassis rails from the rear valance up to just behind the front seats (this includes the rear wishbone inner mounts) then install their ramp assembly including inner wishbone mounts. This then means that the tank has to be dropped to clear the ramp and is then shrouded in a metal box for safety. My van was a t32 with heavy duty springs so initially sat very high so the tank shroud wasn't an issue.
I bought a chopped floor from a front end write off, chopped out all the mods and welded original cross members and floor panel back in - I knew what I was letting myself in for when I bought it but it was a massive job.Not sure if you could locally chop the ramp to get the tank where it should be without chopping out the wishbone mounts?

If they’ve just welded a panel back into the floor have they replaced all the original cross members and floor strengthening as @Steved55 has done? If not then I’d be handing it back as I’d be worried about the chassis strength.
