Wheel Bolts

I have ordered a new transporter shuttle and was so shock my local dealer wanted £1483 for alloys rims I said no and stuck to the steal rims instead, now I have bought some genuine vw alloys with tyres from a guy they’ve only be used for 150 miles as he upgraded to 20inch , so my question is - do I need to change my wheel bolts if changing from steal to alloys rims ?

I saw my wheel bolts (stock steel wheels) have a moving/loose collar on them. Is that then the same on the alloy wheels?

Yes all standard VW steels and alloys use the same bolts, this applies to 16/17 inch steels and 16/17/18 inch alloys like devonports/Sportline etc
