Wheel Covers - who Bothers?

The number of times when at car shows, you see people still with original tyres on, as they have lots of tread left on them.
We call them ‘Ditch Finders’!!

Often these cars will have been trailered and never see the road. I knew one fella with an RS1600i, who had the original wheels with its Dunlop D4 tyres for shows and a set of RS Turbo wheels with new tyres on for the few mile the car did on the road.

Lewis Hamilton has some heated covers he could pass over. Keeps the tyres nice and snug as a bug in a rug. Much better than common rain covers.

Like the idea of these @Nigel L, but what size did you get?

Do you have a link to them on eBay please?

Thanks.

Andy
Think they fit between 27-29 inch overall.

So, cambelt every four years (according to those who profit from cambelt changes), brake fluid every two years (according to those who profit from brake fluid changes), now tyres every four years......excuse me if I guess who recommends that. ;)
How can it be sensible to run one of these as an occasional use vehicle, better to hire a camper when you want one, if you're doing a few thousand miles a year they are very expensive miles!!!
I use my T6 every day, so my tyres will not be on for four years, but we know this only happens in Rip Off UK, no other countries do this!
