Wheel Nut Nightmare!!

Just thought I'd update on this as it became a saga, last Friday it was booked into the garage and they had trouble removing the first wheel bolt on the first wheel so they said they weren't willing to proceed and wanted to order a new tap and brand new vw bolts, given what I'd explained had happened.

It went in yesterday and they had a pig of job on their hands one of lads allegedly never swears and he was going off on one , they got all the threads retapped and new bolts in, they said that the alloys weren't put on straight so not seated correctly,

A bit scary knowing this after we had a long weekend away in the van last weekend it was nearly a 3hr round trip plus my wifes daily driving up until yesterday,

They cleaned the hubs up to ensure they were seated correctly and said to pop back in after around 200 miles and they'd check the torque on the nuts to ensure there hadn't been any movement with the threads and bolts been new.
