when I lock my vwt6 the inside lights don’t go of and the indicators don’t flash

Hi can anyone help, when I lock my vwt6 the inside lights don’t go of and the indicators don’t flash when locking

It will probably be the slider. Looks closed but secretly wants to make you feel stupid! Mine has the same personality

My problem is when I press the unlock on the fob all doors open apart from the slider and it can take up to 6 presses or a lock and unlock to get the slider to open, never had this problem in 12 months owning it and it has started about 3 weeks ago, I am handyman and the amount of times I have to go back and to, to get tools from the van it can get really annoying , any ideas ???

Sorry if it's an obvious suggestion but have you tried cleaning the contacts? Do you check your indicators flash when you lock the van? If not then it may be leaving the sliding door unlocked?
