'Where The Clips Are' thread...

Hello
I became the owner of a T6 Beach Edition this year, and have noticed a lack of lights for the top bed. These should be ready enough to install if I can get access to the wiring from the leasure battery.

There is a plastic cover on top of the driver's side B pillar that, if I can get it off, should give me access to the wires for the outlet above the driver's seat. I have managed to get some leavers behind the cover in a couple of places, but cannot budge it even a little.

Does anybody have any tips on how to access the wiring up to the bed?

Thank you

Any tips/tricks/advice on removing this? Looks like a fairly straight forward job to just gently pry it off?
Haven't removed this particular piece myself but yes, usually just get a tool on one edge to pry it up and carefully work your way around

I can't remember if something else needs to come off first (like the instrument cluster surround) but a close inspection of the gap between the air vent and the adjacent parts will give a clue. They can be levered out using a plastic trim tool, a little bit at a time either side.

Does anyone have info on the 6.1 lower dash drivers side . I’m stuck on the panel with the headlight controller. That’s the easy bit I have unlocked the switch and got the screw out . I’m terrified to damage anything .

If its the same as the T6, take the side panel off (revealed when you open the drivers door see post #3, post #48 may help as well on the 6.1), take the panel that is above the pedals off and you should be able to look inside with a torch and a mirror to see where the fasteners are.
I've had that panel off and don't remember anything difficult about it apart from the lightswitch, there may be a screw in the hole where the switch goes if I remember correctly.

Thanks @Grim Reaper I will try taking the flat panel at the bottom first . The passenger side & glove box was so easy I was wandering why it wouldn’t budge . I already have the side bits and the light switch out .
