Anyone have recent experience of WestDubs? I've looked through some of the older posts. Installer I want to use installs West Dubs - says Reimo is more good marketing than anything else (though he is happy to install whichever I choose). I'm happy to use whichever & have the budget for Reimo but don't want to unnecessarily spend more. Would be great to have froli bed system + mattress permanently up there when traveling (ok to put bedding below if that doesn't fit). Does either accommodate those requirements does anyone know? Not having terrible wind noise would also be a plus. Thanks

My experience isn't that recent but FWIW, my roof was fitted in the West Dubs workshops back in 2019 and I've always been very happy with it. Any issues have been of my own making really but on the three occasions that I've had to deal with them they have always been very helpful. Sorry I can't help with the bedding storage as we have never used it for sleeping (our duvalay mattress and topper roll up and store on the rear of the Smart bed when we're away). Its's a personal thing but I suspect that if I was buying again, I probably wouldn't bother with the 'Panoramic Canvas' - we unzipped ours a couple of times when we first got it and it was a novelty but haven't really bothered after that - others might have a different opinion on that though.

We're looking for a pop top ourselves and were thinking of a vanmax but it would appear they are out of business. 
Vanmax are now supplied by Halifax Camoer conversions. Just not naming them Vanmax at the moment from what I can work out on social media.
They used to be the main installer of the Vanmax roof prior to Vanmax stopping production of the VW roof.

I was the same. I saw Stealth at campermart Sunday. Was good but for me skyline just because they do so many and warranty seems to be good just my opinion i
I'm after one that looks good down but the oval hole in the stealth puts me off a bit. Really liked the vanmax but Halifax conversions LWB is a SWB with a massive nose bit and looks grim. I want to avoid the visible black seal/upturned tub look if possible. Horizon is still on the cards but not sure I can live with 2in loss of headroom in the back.
Hi, just browsing this thread and thought I would chip in for what it’s worth! After a lot of research I opted for a Vanmax pop top as I loved the super low profile look, and it seemed to be a very good quality roof for the money. I had the roof installed by Halifax Camper Conversions and was really happy with the roof and the service from them. I read that they look to have taken over the manufacture of the roof from Vanmax so hope all goes well for them as in my opinion it really is a good design.
