Which wheels and tyres should I buy [merge]

I’ve just bought a 2015 T5.1 and if you look very closely you can just about see that it’s got some wheels hiding away in the arches.

This is a thread of a few questions. I’m looking to buy some new wheels for the van. I really like the look of the Wolfrace X10 in gunmetal, but I’ve also considered black Y spoke wheels. So question number 1, who’s got gunmetal alloys on a silver van they can show me.

I’m planning on going for 19s. I want wheels that fill the arches more. All the tyre packages on these sites seem to provide tyres that are the same rolling radius as standard VW wheels. I don’t want to spend a fortune on wheels and tyres and find they still look lost in the arches. This makes me think I should opt for a slightly higher profile tyre, increasing the rolling radius. Which leads me to my second question... what size tyre would you suggest to give a better look on standard suspension?

Thanks!

Have a look on the 'team reflex' thread for lots of silver vans.

Personally, I would spend the money on a decent suspension setup instead. Because your van will look so much better instantly, even on the standard wheels. You could always add some wheel spacers to push the wheels out a little.
You can get some OEM alloys quite cheap on here or ebay.
Here's my silver van on coilovers with some 18 inch amarok alloys (wheels and new tyres £600 ish)

Putting bigger wheels on a standard height van will still look pants in my opinion...

Apologies, I've tried reading this forum section and soon get lost... I have standard 16" Claytons on my white 2016 T6 T30, no lowering or brake upgrades, and just want to swap for something that looks a bit better but doesn't affect speedo etc. I've been thinking that 18" might be a good size to allow for tyres that still give me the right final circumference without going ultra low profile. In terms of aesthetic, I quite like the idea of darker but not totally black. I've just bought the van second hand and it came with a set of black gloss 20” Stuttgart ST3 which I thought were a bit too far in terms of size and looks so need to sell them too, but that's another story...

Any pointers please would be great. Is there a VW standard option that might fit the bill? Thanks in advance.

I assume you have looked through this collection?

once you have found the wheel you like, just select the correct tyre size.

If you want subtle 18s check out some Amarok steels...

Cheers.
It's a T32 on Kw v1. Around 60 to 70mm lower I'd say.
Yes they are amarok wheels that bolt straight on.
Parked on slightly un-even ground here but a couple more pics for you.
15mm spacers on the rear FYI.

Make sure they are load rated and suit what you want to use the van for

Few ideas here for your colour,
and as for sizes, 19” seem to be the happy middle-ground for looks vs comfort but both wheels and tyres aren’t as common as 20” are.
