Sounds like a pain mate, but well done for figuring it out I think that another stripe should be added to your avatar, something like "t6 specialist"!

I have a daft question that forms my reason to upgrade.. I've got a Dometic cfx95dz2 fridge freezer unit, a big bugger, and there is an app available to run on the android or iPhone.. Can you run this app on mirror link? Or any other way of viewing it on the head unit? As its not a listed mirror link app?..

Any thoughts appreciated..

Don't know about mirror link as I'm an apple man but app connect only functions for 'approved' apps and there are not that many above and beyond the pre installed ones on an iPhone, Spotify being one example

@andythom188 firstly thanks for the help offering your time and T6 (twice) to attempt getting these radios unlocked, I have now found another way to get these working which unlocks all the features (except CarNet)

Hey no problem pal was fun , i will give you a call in the week to see what else i can unlock on the van

@T6 Dave as paul said don't think mirrorlink will work with IOS, and it seems apple aren't dishing out approval for it too easily. I spoke to one app developer to see if they could make it compatible with CarPlay and they said they had tried multiple times and been rejected.
