Winter tyres ok on OEM alloys?

Any preference for tyres and size?

I have no tyre preference, I will not do many miles during winter, it is just for the occasional trips away,... as long as they perform better in the winter ... particularly in snow, ... size wise, probably 235 wide

I decided to get a set of Devonport with the falken Euro winter tyres. So now I'm all set for my Euro winter ski trip....except co vid will probably put an end to that!
