WVW - Flash Back Friday

This was the last month with the "old work donkey" before the new T6 was ready. (1st march 2018)

and yep - it was a 2011, it served us well for 7 years before being upgraded ( and that was only because of the ULEZ)

and before that one . . .

2008 T5 . . .

North and west tour last week. In Manchester for a few days. I was loitering in the town centre Tuesday evening with nothing to do, and the Travel Lodge holding little charm. There was a Man United home match on, but I'm not a big football follower and guessed it would be rammed. I wondered by the O2 Apollo, and bought a ticket for Tori Amos live that night off a tout in the car park for £20. We know Covid is over when life is back to normal like that. Tori Amos was great! :D

Way out of town on Wednesday;

Must have just escaped the town prior to this, literally minutes before, as I left site at around 17:10 and onto the M60;

Needed juice on the way down south, I didn't stop here. Diesel was £1.89, but missed the camera;

A stop en-route for renter maintenance.

A reasonably poorly fitted boiler condensate drain that had been retrofitted, and tee'd into a washing machine waste had been blocked up by smeg over the years, presumably washing past from the washing machine waste.

Not even sure if that's a compliant way of doing things these days.

Headed west to count neutrons with 'Big Carl' for a couple of days;

Ragged it home late in the evening, a 90+ odd mile trip, not hanging around all the way, then got one of these.....

CEL and radiator fans running all of the time, and not doing a regen. See the updates under the Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust, etc.. section.

then maddest thing ever . . . . . . . . Suspension - on a building !!!

yep the whole building had spring suspension to dull down the rumble of the London Underground trains that are very close to the surface in this location.

it was like a bomb bunker or something. ( but wasn't, just commercial) - crazy stuff !!
