Would you buy one of these watches?

I sincerely hope these are printed up to order and not bought in bulk like this!

There seems to be little interest on the forum where we are prepared to spend over the odds on all sorts of van related things just because they have some link to VW so who are they for??? I hope my family don’t see this site around my birthday! No one mention watches to family in the months before your birthday, you’ve been warned!

Tudor GMT is my daily wear, Rolex Sub in blue with silver strap and case (116619LB) for posh wear.

The latter cost more than my van, but my great grandchildren will still getting good use from it. The missus got very upset when she caught me wearing it while gardening.

In the very unlikely event that the Submariner has got a silver bracelet, it's a knock off - I don't think Rolex ever made a Sub or any other watch using silver in the case or bracelet as it's just not hard wearing enough.

If you want a reasonably cheap, everyday quartz analogue watch you wont go far wrong with a Casio MDV 106 and add a nato strap. Reasonably cheap on amazon but if you’re heading to the States even cheaper in Walmart. A friend got mine when you couldn’t get them in the UK - $40!
If you go down the Casio watch road, be very careful of which model you buy

Nonsense.

They do, I did, and Beaverbrooks don't sell knock offs.

A quick moment with Google will see you suitably educated.

This one says white gold, most definitely not steel. Tomayto tomahto.

Here's my daily. When I'm home I'll photo the watch the armchair experts tell me doesn't exist (currently in a hospital waiting room.)

I remember those well. That's a Wolf watch winder, not exactly cheap itself.
