WTF is 'Speed dep volume' ??

It were the volume increase slightly to compensate for road and wind noise at speed.

dep = dependant

So theoretically if you drive at 200mph it will be like your at the live gig stood next to the speaker

5" Vw headunit, I presume it's standard in the highline??
I've turned the setting off as I have it at full wack anyway !

There is a Kenwood headunit thats equivalent of discover media that plugs straight in and all kit works with it ie GPS, MFSW, USB connectivity etc
When you power it up it even shows the VW logo same as standard unit, i actually wonder if this is the same guts as our headunit has just in a kenwood branded facia as opposed to VW branded but thats a total guess/assumption
Only thing i noticed was it didnt seem to have the SD card slots that the VW ones have to take the map info so im guessing this saves it internally ?

No it's not the same guts, and isn't a very good unit, poor screen, clunky OS, poor sound and again poor Bluetooth.

There are far better units out there. Which can all fit the T6 with the correct parts

Thanks for the heads up, never used one just knew of it
So are MFSW connections standardised as in good compatibility between buttons and aftermarket headunits ??
