Off down to Looe (Cornwall) from Essex tonight.

Setting off at 10pm and was going to find somewhere around Yeovil (Someset) to then park up for a sleep part way.

Anyone know of a spot to park up safely?

I grew up in Yeovil, nowhere is safe after dark!

You could try the car park at the back of this place, I haven’t stayed there this year. It’s has a slight slope.
Very good access for a walk up Glastonbury Tor, will be great with todays winds.
They had an honesty box for parking.
I think it’s the usual no overnighting but private ground so the Police or anybody else won’t bother you.

Did you end up staying near Glastonbury?

Nope. Didn’t finish working till nearly 2am. So went home. Had 2 hours sleep and we left at 4:30. Not what was planned

Ah ok. We wanted to stay the night at some point near Glastonbury tor and also if anyone knows of anywhere near stone henge. Somewhere we can just rock up late and wake nice and early.

We went passed Stonehenge on the way. Saw lots of campers just parked up - no parking restrictions.

Just take a look on google maps satellite as well. That’s where we saw them. Stonehenge . Saw various lay-bys on the way generally as well where you could without restrictions and would be safe.
