Your favorite pic of your Transporter

Ah, memories of our first night out on the NC500 in a lay by/truck stop in Inverness! Only time we have ever gone wild!! Currently sat in a C&C club site at Kingsbury Water Park celebrating my birthday tomorrow! 10 miles from home!

My apologies, but I have to ask the obligatory 'what wheels on the van' question @Lotuscamper ? If I get another cracked Velare I'm jumping ship! They look my sort of thing...
Wayne, have you been having problems with your Velares? A set of staggered VLR06s are on my radar, so would be keen to hear if you think they're not up to the job.

I had 2x CC2's put on the front a couple of months ago, the wheel guy said you better look at this mate... inch and a half crack on one of the front 8.5's inside of the rim. New wheel ordered from Renaissance Rims in Dudleyshire £290. Old one welded up nicely for £55 locally. A month later 2x matching CC2's on the back, same wheel guy shows me one of the 10's with the same size crack, £320 for the rear from Renaissance Linden. Amazingly neither front or rear were dropping pressure, so does that make them good?! Welded up, £55 again. I now have a spare front and back, just need to find a passable 245/45 r20 tyre should anyone have one?! VLR07's these are. Look pretty, bugger to clean!

I don’t know is the answer ? They are black and 20 inch would take a look but its raining like during Noah’s time at moment ️⛈️⛈️
I'm sat on the drive in the van considering the possibility of taking out the passenger seat to gain access to my Victron B2B to wire in my Ablemail 12-2 trickle charger, Fiamma wound out, quite a pleasant working environment actually!
Let me know what those wheels are, or of course the forum I'm sure will have an idea!

Thanks for your feedback. Do you recall any specific pothole encounters that could account for the cracks or have you just put these down as "general wear & tear"?

Like everything, I blame general wife and strife, they are just over 2 years old, they came from a place called Shipley 'oop North'. Are the roads still cobbled oop there?!!! Or are the wheels, as I suspect, made of cheese?

Well, I recently paid a lot of money to have my parking area cobbled... (ee, by gum, sithee )

...and a lot of the smaller lanes around here are still cobbled, but with a thin layer of tarmac laid on top. To be fair, though, cobbles are a lot more robust than tarmac and suffer from far less potholes.
