We are currently saving our deposit, and had narrowed down our choice to your camper as they are just down the road from us. Having discovered this thread I’m now having second thoughts. Are there any other reputable firms in central Scotland ?
North Coast Campers is in Maryhill, Glasgow. Caledonian converters went out of business. There's also Jerba in North Berwick. I'm sure there's more others can recommend.
All Seasons Leisure have a small place in Kilmarnock although the main office/conversion place is in Durham.
Hugh in Kilmarnock is very knowledgeable. Check out their website.

Sorry I’m late to the party. Unfortunately I can’t recommend any other camper companies but I can absolutely encourage you to think very carefully before using www.YourCamper.co.uk I’ve recently had to spend a small fortune to correct another issue with the van…. The side sliding door had always rubbed against the rear panel when opening which had scratched the paintwork. Sadly I didn’t have the stomach to go back to www.yourcamper.co.uk about this issue after the tyre saga. I’d also noticed some rust coming through the side sliding door. I wasn’t aware the van had a previous repair which hadn’t been done very well… before handing the van into the body shop I prepared by stripping off the inner panelling and table storage. To my horror I seen what www.yourcamper.co.uk had done to the inner door to accommodate the table. Wow no wonder my door appeared to be warped - it had absolutely no support! Original door couldn’t be salvaged so I had to source another one. Very big bill but I’m delighted with the results and can now open the sliding door with confidence knowing the body work is safe. Ps I purchased a Loc8 table for the new door - good piece of kit. Expensive but good. I’ve attached pictures of the door your camper butchered and what it should look like!
I’m not sure why people are married to the idea that they should buy their van locally other than accessibility should they want some warranty-related work done, particularly relating to the conversion. Generally speaking, if the van is out of VW warranty, the seller’s non-VW warranty is usually relatively short and/or “weak”. (It isn’t as if the seller is recovering the cost of the warranty from a large corporation!)
So, why is buying a pig-in-a-poke locally better that buying a pig-in-a-poke 100s of miles away?
When I was looking to spend North of 50 large I wanted top quality, a decent reputation, care taken when choosing the base vehicle, and suitable warranties instead of vague promises.
A convenient drive to go and view didn't enter into it, the furthtest one I looked at being 180 miles away.
When you're spending big money you should be playing every card in the deck, not compromising for the sake of temporary convenience.
