Just a sugestion for a temporary fix that might help you stay on the road;
Could you wrap a roll of cling film around your tailgate to form a reasonably watertight temp window?
I’ve wrapped some double bubble double foil around the filler neck on my van and this last winter I had none of the gunk at all but I don’t use my van on short journeys.
John.
See test patch in pic (at the bottom of solar panel) it looks better than it actually is. I thought i would try try this but will try to get the prop top wrapped in black.
I've got a self-built 3D printer using Wagos for all the mains wiring. So they're perfectly good for auto wiring, so long as you wrap them up if they are used anywhere where there's risk of moisture. The springiness of the connectors ensure things stay put.
...the rear discs and pads and then go for test. I’ll then do a road test and log the values to make sure the turbos are boosting ok. If everything is ok I’ll wrap this up. Hopefully the thread will help others in the future.
Massive thanks to @mmi for all the help in getting to the bottom of it.
Ressurecting an old thread, hope that is OK.
If I do a white split wrap on a Ravenna Blue van, do I have to tell the DVLA I have (sort of) changed the colour?
Thanks
That’s exactly the way I want to go did you paint the chrome parts yourself?
I was thinking about doing it myself using liquid wrapping (Plasti Dip), any feedback?
@Petezum
Huge favour to ask. I need a small piece of vinyl wrap to match an Acapulco Blue van (60mm x 200mm or less than A5 ish) for a little project to infill half of our front badge. Would you have such a thing in stock or know where I could get some please?
Many thanks.
