Picked up in the van that makes me money, to be fitted to the van that costs me money, a new to me Vw Cantara alloy wheel from Hereford. To be stored as a “spare” in case any of the fitted 1’s get damaged. The tyre will get scrapped.

Got a chance to buy some New Vw Cantara alloys with 255/55R19 tyres, my question is will the 55 profile be too much on a un lowered T28 .. T6.1

After unsuccessfully trying to find a new ish set of Vw Cantara 19” alloys and tyres I’m now looking at just the alloys and put some new tyres on. Any recommendations for tyres ie: size make ? Thanks in advance..

Cantaras are the same. I've got 255's and putting a straight edge across the tyres shows that the spokes stick out. You just need to be mindful of it, that's all.

245/45/19 Goodyear Vector 4 season for me. I’ve been running these tyres for 2 years at 40psi. The speedo is bang on with the GPS and they are wearing evenly.

Good looking, easy to clean and a big choice of tyres :thumbsup: Cantaras are still better though - just sayin' :whistle:

...back to standard? There seem to be a few Caravelles for sale on Auto Trader and the like. Mine 'should' stand out a bit from them with Cantaras, STX, THQ lights, Lazers, Carbon splitter, side bars, etc... but what does the market want? I'm in no rush to sell, so will go private rather than...
